I was born in Brussels, Belgium, to a Dutch-speaking mother and a French-speaking father. This is arguably where my life as a cosmopolitan jack-of-all-trades began. (and also the source of the split personality needed for animation ...)

Ever since I was young, I've been interested in drawing, photography, art, music, theatre, science and video games. After studying Latin-Sciences in secondary school (and doing all of those previously mentioned things as hobbies), I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema and Sound (RITCS), specializing in 3D animation, 2D animation and stop-motion.

Since 2017, I tell stories at THE PACK Brussels through a variety of mediums, ranging from film to VR and games to painting.

Animation = painting + sound + time

Video games = animation + interactivity

Virtual reality = video games + space

I love exploring new ways to use technology and create something of value for society. My creations are colorful and dark, aesthetically pleasing but with a heart. I tend towards graphical and symmetrical representations of the world and our relation to it, but with "een hoek af". (Flemish expression meaning "a little twisted") I am ordered, but constantly in search of chaos.

Giving talks and teaching is another passion of mine, which is why I also hold a teacher's degree in the (audio)visual arts. In addition to this, I regularly host philosophy meetups and love talking art, science and life in general. You can find me every year at the Anima Festival, the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and Vegan Summer Fest, but if you can't wait to talk to me, you can find my contact details below. Enjoy looking at my work!
